I think it had not been bought up as 6 new aircraft for FedEx, is like Doug downloading 6 new songs to his Ipod. That is a drop in the ocean considering how many aircraft you have - do you think FedEx will break the 1000 aircraft mark?
 
It is relatively small, but 6 widebodies, nonetheless. I think we have about 42 widebodies coming in the next 2 years or so.

I am sure we'll eventually get to 1000 trunk aircraft, but we're a ways from that now. We do have the largest widebody fleet in the world, but we don't have as many narrow bodies as most domestic pax carriers, with only 130 or so 727s (I think).

I have a question about FedEx. I have seen that they have acquired numerous second hand DC10s over the years. I was curious as to how long these DC10s will serve with FedEX, considering their age? Can they fly them for many more years?
