Agreed.
It is a feeling you never want to feel.

While I urge everyone to resist the temptation to Monday-morning-quarterback the accident, I recognize that trying to understand what happened can be helpful both in coping and learning from it. With that in mind, here's a comment from a student pilot who witnessed it:
Angry that there's no way to un-do whatever mistake was made. Angry that it's so permanent.
Heck, if I'm following your logic right, what aircraft would there be to be liked? They'd all be hated.
I think I'm gonna be sick.Ben Hill smells fail. on Tuesday
Unfortunately, that anger will only serve to eat you up inside, for just the reasons quoted above.![]()
Ben's facebook status, last updated yesterday:

Indeed. I have the kind of anger one gets after making a mistake with something you know you could have done better at. The kind of anger that ticks you off in the moment, but ultimately makes you improve for the future. I only wish BDHill was still around to improve from it as well.
As with any accident, all we can do is learn and keep going.
or he'd go fishin'...the moment i heard, i thought of that poor tackle box he lost to the river...then i think he somehow mysteriously found it again and was SO happy to have his favorite lures again.I've gotta admit, this is kinda nonsensical unless you knew Ben.
But as soon as I heard about this, the first thing I thought was, "Jesus, what would Ben do...he'd get a beer."
Here's to you, Ben.
