Correct, for IAE motors anyway. The IGN also comes on with ENG A-ICE and other times the FADEC deems it appropriate.

CFM's don't do this.

That is horrifying. Awesome job by the crew, hopefully they get some recognition for staying on-top of the situation.

A guy in the comments claiming to be a pax seems to keep insisting they hit the ground before the go-around. I wonder if there is any truth to this.
