FAA Begins Early Inspection of Allegiant Air Operations

Another day, another Allegiant engine failure.

Does the Airbus have the igniters come on during approach?
That is horrifying. Awesome job by the crew, hopefully they get some recognition for staying on-top of the situation.

A guy in the comments claiming to be a pax seems to keep insisting they hit the ground before the go-around. I wonder if there is any truth to this.

Quite a few go arounds do.

I'm sure they've already fired the crew for the job well done.
