I take that to mean the child is going to be crying, kicking, running, stomping, yelling, & not wearing that good ole seatbelt.
We read it differently then. If a kid is behaving that way, and is a threat to the safety of flight and or not able to comply with federal law, then the Contract of Carriage provides for them to be removed.
Like I said though, in 7 years I never actually had to remove any kid. Others may find them annoying. I find lots of people annoying, smelly people who fart, armrest hogs, overhead bin hogs, elitist snobs, etc. But they're a part of society too, and unless they're doing something to jeprodize the safety of the flight, or are in violation of the Contract of Carriage, I have to deal with it
I would
never take my kids to a Ruth's Chris, Morton's, or other "nice" restaurant. Those aren't "kid"places. I
will, however, every now and then, take them to O'Charley's, Applebees, and places like that. That's part of how they
learn what is acceptable public behavior and what is not. Should they act up at any time while we're there, or any other public place for that matter, they are removed and dealt with age-appropriatly.
If you go to a "kid" movie, expect there to be kids there. It is, after all, a KID movie. (Cars, Monster's Inc, etc) I will not take my kids to a
non-kid movie. (Casino Royale, Indiana Jones, etc) It's NOT for kids!
