I'm not a recruiter, but again, I'd be looking for what, specifically, you learned from the experience. Be prepared to explain yourself, and be honest about the failures. The only way to get bounced faster than, well, something fast with racing stripes, is to lie.Well, I applied. Hopefully Express and Eagle over look it, especially with successful 135 line checks.
Busting a ride 5000 hours ago can't possibly mean anything about their current abilities. Asking a question about that would be a waste of the interviewer's time. He's probably successfully completed at least 10 line checks/initial/ATP/type or whatever rides at this point.I'm not a recruiter, but again, I'd be looking for what, specifically, you learned from the experience. Fair enough. I'd still find it one of those interesting "personal development" stories, though. My motive would likely be more on the curiosity end of the spectrum.Busting a ride 5000 hours ago can't possibly mean anything about their current abilities. I'm glad you applied. If you need any advice or assistance in regards to Eagle let me know. Good luck!
I thought you went to Republic? or am I thinking of someone else?
My friends old roomate had 6 checkride busts, Eagle gave him 'thanks but no thanks' and then he got hired at Expressjet.
Hello all,
I've been a lurker for sometime now, and I finally joined. I'm looking to get into the 121 world ( Currently fly 135) and I'm interested in Express Jet or Eagle; However someone said if you have any checkride failures they will not hire you? I failed my CFI inital three times five years ago.
I now have 5500 TT 3000 Multi 2000 Turbine. CSEL ATP-MEL. Will they overlook the CFI bust from 5 years ago?
That's the key bit.Before or after 3407?
I recieved a call from Eagle. They are going to give me a class date.
