With the runway closure if we’re up and down one runway we need 6-7 miles at the treshold to get departures off. This lowers the rate dramatically during the day so midnight ops have been busy.

Had a 4 hours EDCT from MIA the prior night, didn’t get into our rooms until 4am. Did this trip twice over the past 2 weeks with lots of delays. Just glad I’m not seeing ewr for the rest of May. Can’t wait for the construction to finish for something new to pop up.

My next three trips all touch EWR. May God have mercy on my soul.

Got in and out of there last week with just a minor delay thankfully. Was really hoping to not have to land 29 since we had horses on board but only 22L was in use both days.
