ETOPS approval process

Absolutely! No need to give them any more info than flight time and arrival time. Why it takes so long is unimportant.

Actually, now having looked at it, I take back my original comment. I imagined ACC-JFK would be blocked around 10:00, and I see it's 11:16 right now. So, 40 minutes more than that in the air plus a little taxi on either end is still within the realm of "the winds were strong today" type of over-blocking.

For whatever reason I was thinking of 11:56 on that route being something like when everyone was flying waaay out of the way to go upwind of the Iceland volcano type of thing...i.e. 20% longer flights and 2-3 hours late into the hub. That's what I was originally thinking of in regards to some kind of brief explanation to the pax.

Industry leaders don't kick babies off airplanes!

;)
Every person over the age of two (= not a baby) must occupy an approved seat or berth with a seat belt fastened about them.

Sorry, which part of 14 CFR would you like us (I wasn't there, wasn't me, I didn't do it, not privy to the facts, and no other comments) to ignore?

You realize, you've just notified karma to provide you with a screaming 3 YO, who refuses to sit in the seat for takeoff. Have fun dealing with it.

Already have dealt with it.

We pulled aside, let the mother with kiddo get up walk around a few until they calmed down, and then continued. Of course I wasn't at an industry leading regional though. I was at Colgan.
