EQUIP for LA PEPC

got EQUIP today. I can sign in but its a pain in the ass. I'm 20, so finding people ive known for over 7 years that arent family is hard lol.

Hey Buckeye and Aviatorchris, In the E-QIP email you received does it say to return an attached copy of the DOT 1631 form? There was no attachment and I can't find a 1631 anywhere, maybe she meant the 1681? I know I read earlier that at the KC PEPC they signed those signature forms for the e-QIP at the PEPC, does anyone know if that's right?

Yeah the 1631 was attached in my email also...I had already sent it in though

Is there a number you fax the forms you complete at the end of the E-QIP which you print or do you take those with you to sign them at the PEPC? If says your investigation can't start until the forms are recieved and signed, but I did not see instructions as to where to send them and it did not specify in the e-mail I got from HR with the E-QIP link either.

Right from the E-mail:

"After completing e-QIP, you should release your document as instructed. It is not necessary to send us the certification and release pages, as this will be completed when you process through the PEPC. If you have not already done so, it is recommended that you complete and return the attached DOT Form 1631 to the PEPC mailbox listed above or the fax number below."

For some reason I keep getting an error for the Work Experience part of EQUIP. It keeps saying dont list work prior to sixteen birthday. Well I'm not and it still says I am. Anyone have this problem?

That would be very inconsistent with what their instructions say at the end of the EQIP and in previous emails. Everything I have seen IN WRITING indicates they will have copies for you to sign at your PEPC. This is not so and so said...just read your EQIP e-mail.

K-Dog is right. when you go to the E-Qip portion of the PEPC you either go on the computer and fix/add/change anything, or you just sign the one you submitted and your done.

hey K-Dog, i remember a few months ago when you chose the LA Pepc and you wrote that you would have done KC if you knew it would get you to OKC faster. since there are a good number of KC PEPC people with dates are you upset you didnt go to KC? does anyone from your center who went to KC Pepc have a date yet?

Uhhhh...you have hit a sore spot, Bippo!!! I have been walking around mumbling and grumbling about this for 2 weeks!@$#@#!

Yes, I have heard report of one person who has a Feb 23rd date that is going to ZLA. So, that being said, I don't think it is possible for me to get a date that quick seeing as how my PEPC is on the 29th of Jan. So... due to the fact I waited for the LA pepc I will be behind untold legions of KC PEPC attendees in seniority for my entire career.:(

So, thinking ahead, I'm hoping I don't have to do this again since I had to do the EQIP for my current position with the FAA....
