Airlines dont hire dispatchers based off future potential. They want a dispatcher that can work as soon as the class is supposed to happen. They rarely if ever hire someone and let them start on that dispatchers own schedule. If you arent ready to be in a new hire class within a few weeks then you shouldnt apply.

Most Dispatch jobs are basically take it or leave it propositions. You cant really negotiate salary in most places, cant negotiate when you will start and there is no shortage of people willing to do whatever it takes to get the job.

As someone that is new to this process, and on the way to getting my license and stepping into a dispatch career, I find your lack of respect for the process and those in the field to be absolutely insulting. It is one thing to have a sense of humor, but something else to have a lack of disregard for anyone including yourself. Some things have to be taken seriously, including your future career, if that is what you desire. One misstep in any field can have lasting effects. I don't know if it is a maturity issue, or if you really do want to sabotage yourself, but maybe it is time to grow up and figure out what you want to accomplish. If a career is really your objective, it is time to stop being foolish, and focus on being the best example in whatever career you choose. It doesn't matter to me if you succeed or fail because I don't know you. But, you should care. The application process starts well before certification, and just because you think you are anonymous at this point, let me tell you, that companies are a lot smarter than you think they might be. Your reputation may precede you and make it to a recruiters desk with your application.

wow you must be having a bad day or something... eat a snickers or something. I'm not letting any negativity lower my will to accomplish my goals.

I'm afraid that seeing you attempt to get a job dispatching will be like watching a train crash in slow motion. To quote TaxiBack from an old post about someone else: "I'm actually kind of curious myself in a bystander sort of way......do you know what chum is?"
