They are openly antagonistic to their dispatchers, are fighting any kind of pay raise, even though crew scheduling makes more, and now they are preventing qualified candidates from moving on to AA even when they are overstaffed. They're shooting themselves in the foot and acting like they're brilliant business people. They're no longer worth the low pay. I'd avoid them at all costs.

Envoy wasn’t great, but it was nowhere near as bad as Compass was. A big problem at Envoy right now is that Union leadership went from bad to worse. Before they only took care of the lifers while the current leadership seems to be just giving away the farm at every opportunity. It’s very reminiscent of Endeavor Pre-COVID where Union leadership ran that group into the ground.

As far as holding people back from AA, that’s been their game for the better part of a decade. As someone that played that game, you just have to be cognizant of what can happen if you stand out too much. The main victims were normally instructors or trainers, but they normally limited that to the junior cadre.

Also from what I’ve been told by people at Envoy, their staffing is lower than management wants it to be.

Management is trying to inflate their staffing to eliminate overtime so they can put more pressure on the dispatch group to accept a smaller pay raise than they deserve. They've had multiple shifts with up to 3 floaters. Meaning people who didn't even have a desk to sit at. And they still have more people in OJT and classroom, along with those who haven't started yet.
Make no mistake, they can afford to have lost everyone that AA wanted to take.
And it's bad enough for them to limit the number unjustifiably, but if they are blocking specific people who are highly qualified, that's getting into unfair labor practice territory. Something Envoy has been doing for years, ever since I worked the ramp for Envoy and they deducted 30 mins for lunch from our checks without actually giving us a lunch.
Thus my caution. It was understandable to put up with some of that to get the fast track to AA. It's not worth it anymore.

As someone who worked at envoy and saw multiple AA hiring cycles, they 100% have a massive input on who goes to AA and who doesn’t. Some cycles are better than others but some cycles they are blatantly obvious there’s manipulation going on with the interview / offer process.

Definitely not meaning to say that the 6 that were chosen don't deserve it. I've heard they are a good bunch too, and look forward to working with them.
 
10 hour classroom days, normally 4 days a week however that can change due to classroom reservations (crew scheduling, recurrent training, ect). You do get an hour for lunch and multiple breaks through out.

We just completed our fall bid. Everyone, to include those currently in classroom training, has a line. The next class will be on relief lines as they are taking over the AA departures.
