Envoy DFW-TYR

Nah. You're in flight help gives me lots of free stuff in uniform. I wouldn't get that in slacks and a polo. Still a regional shlub. Don't like paying for snacks ;)
Or preboarding, which gets denied if not in uniform. Which turns into a huge pain in the ass if you have to check your bag, and re-enter security (when your flight gets in AFTER KCM closes) to go back to the employee lot to get your car.

I said, I don't want to have to commit a criminal offense to keep my toothpaste if selected randomly at KCM.

{insert Morgan Freeman meme here}

It'd suck to lose my toiletries and that's a clear and present danger if you get flagged out of uniform.

I travel in uniform, I've noticed I just get treated better by the crew, gate agents and the like as well. Not the TSA though I get held hostage in SAT the other day because they said my hands were blocking my pockets when I went through the detector. Had to go back through, but the "officer" made me place my hands all the way out and then I was processed for additional screening in uniform. It is what it is, the guy was just a complete tool about it all.

When dispatch gets creative with an alternate you need to make sure you're authorized to use it.

Interesting. Can't say I ever considered that. I certainly wouldn't be looking at/thinking about that when I'm in the air, but I can kinda see how that could come in to play before leaving.
