Probably because you were wearing your uniform and captain epaulettesThe station people here call me "Captain." The first few times (while goin' between sim and home) my response was, "Me? Oh."
Very strange.

Around here, you wear them once you're done with ground; this is the practice.You wore 4 stripes to captain training?
Lol. I was making sure you saw my sarcasm tag. Thanks for the bio 101 refresher though![]()
Audience and such.While my replies to you and @JordanD were true. The whole point of the post was obviously a bad joke. Lol. I'd explain it, but if you have to explain a joke...

Shuttling to and from sim. (My three-stripe boards were in a box somewhere.)
One can also just wear civilian clothes.
I'm aware of that. I also don't want to have to commit a criminal offense to keep my toothpaste should I be randomly selected at KCM.One can also just wear civilian clothes.

Nah. You're in flight help gives me lots of free stuff in uniform. I wouldn't get that in slacks and a polo. Still a regional shlub. Don't like paying for snacksor you know just slacks and a polo
Or show up the first day of Indoc, in a suit. Right?

Or preboarding, which gets denied if not in uniform. Which turns into a huge pain in the ass if you have to check your bag, and re-enter security (when your flight gets in AFTER KCM closes) to go back to the employee lot to get your car.Nah. I was thinking more "what country you from?"{insert Morgan Freeman meme here}
It'd suck to lose my toiletries and that's a clear and present danger if you get flagged out of uniform.

When dispatch gets creative with an alternate you need to make sure you're authorized to use it.
It's required in our ops specs.You are the only carrier, even 121, that I have ever heard of that has this.
