Anyone make mention of the Badlands yet? I never got to see it when I lived in ND, but I hear it's really, really worth the trip.
And yeah, Duluth is awesome. Especially in any month that isn't winter.

not worth the trip. driven thru quite a few times on my way to montana. Western Wyoming is much cooler

Correct me if i am wrong, but aren't the badlands in south dakota. i remember going there a couple of times with the family and it was a great area to go visit.

There are Badlands in North and South Dakota.

the badlands that have been featured in movies are in south dakota. they do stretch into north dakota but most tourists hit up south dakota.

Not really worth the trip to go see the Badlands... they are pretty, but there really isn't much to see. I went through them when I first moved to ND - there was a heavy storm coming through and it cleared up as we passed through the Badlands. The rainbow that appeared along with the dark clouds in some areas with the sun shining through was a neat sight over the Badlands...but that was about it.
