I've been using www.logshare.com for the past few years. It's free and it works. I've been thinking about getting Logbook Pro for Xmas maybe.
I use Flightlogg.in here.
Only complaint I have is that it tallies up P2P XC hours but not 50nm+ hours, which would come in handy.
Or maybe I'm doin' it wrong.
And that right there is why I want to keep my logbook on my own computer, with backups off site.
For you Iphone lovers out there you can use Flogger to track your flights and then import the file it generates into Logbook Pro. Just check the app store.
Wait, huh? Pretty much the only hold back (other than AT&T wanting to charge me $500 since I'm in the middle of my contract) on getting an iPhone is it's a pain to import from LogTen Pro, and I'm not gonna be buying a MacBook anytime to sync LogTen Pro to the computer version.
Who said anything about Logten Pro....Flogger's file can be imported into Logbook Pro.
If Flogger imports no problem, then my resistance to buying the iPhone is futile.
I dunno... up until this year, there just wasn't anything as "cool" but between the WebOS phones (Pre/Pixi) and the Droid, I'm thinking the days of people justifying the crappy AT&T coverage and WAY overpriced plans are sort of almost over.
flightloggin does send an email backup to you each week if you like...
Being free, that's what I use. Since I still keep a paper logbook, it makes it easier if you set the number of lines per page to match the paper version.
Works like a champ. And is was said before, with the email backup sent to gmail, if it went away someday, it would take you all of 30 seconds to import it into another electronicl logbook.
Logten Pro is the flagship LBP "replacement" for the iPhone everyone normally touts. However, it's a pain to import it into LBP. If Flogger imports no problem, then my resistance to buying the iPhone is futile.
