Ain't nobody got time for that
Not on southwestYou know, there's a real easy way to avoid middle seats: buy a ticket and select an aisle or window seat. Works good, lasts long time.

Ehh, I'd rather have an assigned seat than standing around in a corral for an hour!![]()
Still my favorite commercial of all time:
You want upgrade list you say? Fly united! If I was a business traveler, I want to check in electronically, get on the upgrade list, and head straight from the "SkyLounge" (or whatever the airline calls it) to the boarding area, scan my cellphone and get onboard.
I hope it's my company to be honest. They need less pitch to compete with Spirit, Frontier, etc. pricing structure. Their growth is insane and it needs to be checked before it gets out of hand.Folks, I'm pretty sure that if an airline was really thinking of doing this they would be talking to other outlets, not this blog.

.....At least until I start thinking about who is sitting in the right front seat.![]()
Personally, I think a mix of a high end product (first class) plus a ton of el cheapo seats is a good way to go.
Eh, they could be floating the idea low key in order to measure what the response would be. Real news outlets tend to want to indicate where their anonymous source came from in order to give their stories more credibility ("a source at USAirways who asked to remain anonymous due to company policy against speaking to the press....."). After gauging response and deciding to move forward, they could then go to the real news outlets. Just a possibility, though. It could also be complete bunk.
You mean like when Katie Couric says, "People are talking about…" people may not actually be talking about it? Shut… Your… FOOL MOUF!
My favorite is on Faux when one of the talking heads says "critics are saying...."
You're the critics who are saying!!!!![]()
