Looks like it is, you do preflight planning and dispatch releases while also watching other things like crew duty etc according to the job postSo not a dispatcher position?

Sir,
The link you provided is for a Dispatcher position, not flight follower. Not sure where you are seeing the Flight Following title.
Thanks Sir

Absolutely no need to be a smartass in this forum when someone is trying to help posting a job(s). Doesn't matter if someone doesn't post both links, do a little research if they say the same company has two different positions open.Sir,
Next time please be more specific..
Thanks Sir

Sir,Eastern operates two companies under the same holding company. EAL and EAX. EAL has both 121 supplemental and flag authorizations on its certificate. It therefore needs dispatchers (operational control with PIC). EAX is a 121 supplemental and does not need dispatchers, so it hires flight followers (Dir of Ops has ops control, delegated to flight follower).
I'm sure its not hard to guess why, but could you explain some more?Steer clear of eastern airlines if you can help it. You would be better off working at a regional for less pay. They were a good airline to go to before they moved to Kansas City. It has gone downhill in the last year.
I've heard the same thing from people who know employees, they said its real crap show over there.Steer clear of eastern airlines if you can help it. You would be better off working at a regional for less pay. They were a good airline to go to before they moved to Kansas City. It has gone downhill in the last year.
just purely based on my interview there last year, I'd have to say it's not someplace I'd willingly work unless it was my last option...and even then, I'd probably go back to door to door salesI'm sure its not hard to guess why, but could you explain some more?
