Keep in mind that if you book your hotel and event registration between now and August 20th, you'll really be saving approximately 40% overall. That, my friends, is a steal and obviously, we want you to stay at the hotel under our group code AJ1015C. :)

...AUGUST 20...

and please, register your hotel first -- then -- register for the event. We will be checking the hotel roster on a weekly basis :)

Book your hotel, event and +1 (guest) registrations at aviationcareerexpo.com under the Attendees menu

*Refunds, less a 20% processing fee, will be granted until October 1 for cancellation requests received via email to events@jetcareers.com. No refunds after October 1. Registrations can be transferred to another individual, however, any request to transfer must be sent via email to events@jetcareers.com no later than October 1. *

What if we're staying at the Palms, but we're splitting the room with somone else with the reservation in their name? I'd guess $90, but I figure I'd check before clicking on that one.

The person who is reserving the room is the only person that will be able to use the discount (unless the guest is a spouse but they'd probably only want or need NetworkJC anyway and not the full package).

So you are correct that a guest staying at a hotel reserved by someone else is going to pay the regular rack rate (whether early bird prices or not) of $90 if they want to attend both the career fair and NJC.

Reason is simply because we need to fill our room quota. If we do not fill our room quota, we still have to pay for those empty rooms and we would lose all concession deals we've been able to get.

our concessions include:
  • 25% off spa and salon services
  • Complimentary fitness room access
  • Complimentary club access to Moon, Rain, Ghostbar and Playboy Club
  • $10 free casino play with Club Palms membership sign-up
  • Complimentary shuttle services to the strip

This expo is set up to work like any other convention by giving you incentive to book a hotel room at the hotel where the convention is being held

hmmm I'll have to double check with the chief and the hotel about that. I would assume that one guest like a spouse (as most rooms are intended for a party of 2) would be able to partake of the concessions.

I'm sure we could easily put names on the list as long as we have information on whose sharing and how many are in a room.

Is there any reason for someone to buy the career fair pass if they aren't looking for a job? Anything else going on at the career fair that might be worthwhile?

Citium Wealth will be providing retirement planning services, ensuring you have a well diversified portfolio heading towards retirement.

Even if you have a company-sponsored "A" plan, there will be a need to ensure you're well balanced.

Pilots with "B" plans, "C" plans, or a lump-sum self directed plan or a 401(k) will also benefit.

If you choose none of the above, Citium will be able to work with you to achieve your goals, no matter what your desired investment strategy is.

Citium will also work with individuals just getting established in their careers, to custom tailor an investment strategy that will fit with the job you have today.

We'll have other vendors there, we don't have them in ink yet but there's been expressed interest so i can't specify who they are.

ALPA will be there. Pay the admission just to go out and see them. I mean you might need an education about that ;).

Also...

Maybe you should get your employer to come...

:cough cough:

yea..ALPA will be there.... and we've had a hard time in trying to talk to AT about attending when we know they're looking for pilots. :)

Kristie, can you check the eventbrite setup? I tried to do the NetworkJC + CareerFair for me and just the NetworkJC for my +1 (which is what it showed at checkout) but just actually printed the tickets and realized I have two NJC+CareerFair tickets. I'm kind of slow with math today, but I think it billed me for that as well.

Not the end of the world. My +1 has wanted to start a company to market sunscreen to pilots and other at risk occupations for a while so maybe her wandering around a vendor hall will serve as some motivation.

Thanks.

I'm sure this has been asked, and answered, but I can't find anything. What does the "NetworkJC's" price include?

for just the NetworkJC function?

It's the main networking event on Monday night at the SkyVilla...includes admission, food and beverage.
