Does it matter?Keep in mind the people that sold you the "gamble" are about to sell you the crap sandwich. I certainly hope people don't forget that important tidbit.
Good seeing you (and the short one!) the other day, dude.
Does it matter?
In what way? Honest question.Yes!
The only reason you're about to vote on an awful TA is because this group decided to go against all the counsel of supporting a deal they created and then bad-mouthed.
Vote however you feel necessary, but don't praise the group that brought this deal to your ballot box. In fact, we should ensure they don't represent us after this is over.
What does $209 get me on the USAirways pay scale? Just out of curiosity.
Yes it matters, Ray, Sam and Herb are part of the reason I am stuck as a FO. They messed up and need to be held accountable for it.Does it matter?
So envoy will be the big e-jet airline, psa will be the crj airline and pdt will be the little e-jet airline? No, they were promised jets. They are getting 145s and my guess is they get to keep their out station basing.
Yup, I just flew with a CA that would be 4th generation AA that doesn't want to work for AA. As he put it AA is dead, it is America West is AA paint. So envoy will be the big e-jet airline, psa will be the crj airline and pdt will be the little e-jet airline?
This whole thing with the eagle contracts and the jcba issues with mainline shows me that Parker is no Anderson. He's still running this place like America West with the AA name.
$209 would be:
Management proposed
6 year baby bus CA pay 1/1/2015
Same pay at Delta is showing $194
Because Dougie!!Three issues:
1. Why six? There are no double-breasted six-year bus captains.
2. Southernjets contract expires in 2015.
3. U-Boat Commanders earn about 20% profit-sharing.

APA has been quiet the last week, who knows. Both sides say profit sharing is off the table now, and management keeps saying this isn't section 6, cya in cost neutral arbitration.
Im probably in the minority, but im OK with that Payrate for the E190. THe ugly truth is, the more expensive it gets, the less likely they are to add to the fleet type. And instead of getting more E190s (or getting rid of them) youll see republic and Envoy flying E175s (with capts making about $80/hr).There was an e-mail about the pay rates if we took them. They would be the highest in the industry EXCEPT for group 1 which is still inadequate. 3rd year e190 Captain at JetBlue is 150, at Us Airways it would be 133 with the JCBA pay raise. If they don't want to pay industry average on it then they should just get rid of them.
