I'd rather fly on an E-Jet than a 737.
Yeah but it has the new Pratt&whittney engines soo. Those spinny things on the wings look yuuuge
And better than a CRJFrom a pax perspective, the E-jets are a really nice ride. Miles ahead of the 145 series.
This actually looks like a baby 757.

AA's new group 1 aircraft replacement?![]()
The only thing that would make that thing nicer is a scope clause that keeps it (and any variants) firmly on a mainline seniority list.

Isn't the 175e2 already too heavy for scope? I thought scope already limited MTOW to something like 87k?
I'm betting we will see the E2 scaled down to something that fits within scope, just like the E170 does today... unless we collectively put our foot down to stop it.

Rather it be AA's new Group 1 aircraft rather than going to Envoy or Republic.
Get them on properly and when the next contract rolls around, solidify scope and close the pay gap between Group 1 and Group 2.
