It's been about 8 years, but I flew for them for almost two years in socal. Great company. Not much of a career place, but great for time-building. They really like to see an A&P- everybody chips in on maintaining the airplanes. Keep sending your resume. Their staffing seems to depend on what contracts they keep.
As far as being away, it really depends on where you're flying. I was flying five days a week, home every night in socal. If you're in Bridgewater (HQ) you might be "deployed" more.
