DUI effect on current employment

Yeah, every big weekend "Record DUI arrests in Phoenix! We need more funding!" meanwhile, I wonder how many of those arrests turned up to be hokey after the blood test.

Copville, I tell ya! ;)

Wife and I had a nice lunch at the Indian place in mt Vernon today, right on the river.........watched a meth head rage. She got out of a Subaru WRX, which accelerated at high speed in reverse out of the parking lot, and she continued. At first I thought there was a real human she was screaming obscenities at, but then realized she was fighting with an imaginary frienemy. One cop showed up and attempted to spar with her, as she screamed that it was "attempted murder". The most hilarious moment was when an F150 with lights and "PARK RANGER" written on the back came blowing around the corner by where we were sitting, screeching tires, and then he popped out and I think maybe tazed her. Funny part being the insane hurry he was apparently in, to come grab this woman screaming at nothing/nobody. It was a real wild ride. Guess ill stick to the island, its much more boring here

I have a colleague that had a DUI before employment that’s not in the HIMS program, so it’s certainly doable I guess. I really don’t know the dynamics other than being frozen-out for a decade.

I watched a pilot throw away his career because he had an alcohol issue at work and refused to work the HIMS program and wanted to tackle the issue on his own with the FAA. He’s not in the career anymore to my knowledge and I doubt he ever got his medical back.

Point I’m trying to make, if you ever make the mistake and end up in the same situation, work the HIMS program. It’s an incredible program that’s insanely successful.

Do they still send you to the summer camp there if you get one?

Taste of India

Also on that note, there is technically an Indian restaurant here in town, but I have never seen anyone inside nor do I know anyone who has eaten there. We think it might be a front for something.

I’ve eaten at Italian places like that, where I’m seemingly the only person in the place, ever.

But the food was so good, I decided I really didn’t care.
