‘Don’t drink the coffee on airplanes,’ flight attendant warns

Take one of the big bottles of water, empty 1/3 out however you choose. Empty whole coffee package from back (keep filter). Let sit for 12 hours on overnight with cap on. Use filter to pour out later for cold brew.

Or so I've heard. If you like cold brew, might be an amazing solution, let me know though cause I have no idea.

I mean i hate coffee.

I used to drink half of one of those novelty sized bottles of water, then dump two Starbucks Via packets in there and I’d be good all day

Be grateful that there isn't a middle eastern bum gun in the lav.

I'm assuming you're talking about a bidet. Although I can see it being disastrous in an airplane lav, I really can't recommend one enough for your home toilets enough. Life changing. It's criminal that they're not standard on US toilets.

I have actually seen a failed ecoli test of the potable water.
I've seen that occasionally on the CRJ, never on the E-jet, the potable gets deferred.

But I'm not even sure what this person means by "hit a couple buttons and the test passed."

Like... What buttons? Where? You're making no sense.

My Toto Washlet is life changing. Especially when I had rumbly tummy last weekend.

So fresh and so clean clean.

Bidets are the thing that the rest of the world has figured out, but is going to be "OMG! LQQK what I discovered!" on Instagram/pinterest in another decade here in the states.

I literally buy bidets as wedding/house warming presents for my friends now.

I had a cab driver in Rome who basically said the reason he doesn't visit the US is because there's no bidets.

That is a weird reason not to visit somewhere.

Same buttons we push to fix the wifi inflight... duh!

Flew with a captain on the ER that refused to drink ships coffee. He brought a small electric percolator and his own roasted coffee and made his own in flight. Was some damn fine java!

Oh I like this idea, trying to think of my coffee fix in advance of heading to the ER as I typically don't drink airplane coffee. Last cup I tried from the MD95 tasted like battery acid.

He had a small two cup percolator. Brought it, his coffee, and two SS cups. Used a big bottle of water and sugar/cream from the plane. Used an extension cord from the plug on the FO side, AlwYs offered the FO a cup every time he brewed up. Quite the gentleman.

At least we have toilet seats here in the states, it was extremely irritating when I had to use the toilet at an airport in Italy and the toilet seat is gone. Every where I went that had a public toilet the seat was missing and these people invented plumbing.
