Doing that good old dual given in the area.

Stayed in ground effect to accelerate as rapidly as possible, then pitched for Vy to clear the traffic pattern in altitude as quickly as possible.

So... the normal way a soft field takeoff is done? That's the way I learned it. Also tons of fun. I present a video of a Marine C-12 combat takeoff:

UND King Airs should be able to do the same thing right?

You would be surprised how many cargo pilots will fly. A soft field take-off is one of the safer things you will see them do.

It's because we're straight ballers yo. 8's on pylons around the glide slope antenaes at 50 feet!

What the MU-2 guys do seems more dangerous with their crazy shallow initial climb, but I suppose given that things single engine characteeistics, I supppose I'd want as much airspeed as possible as well.

I ever show you how to go direct with an auto gps? Put in the FBO address in and bam, gps for under 100. This is why I'm a gold seal instructor son.

My philosiphy has always been to never call someone out on a public forum about something they did in an airplane unless they did something thatcould have killed them for others around them. What jhugz did with his metro does not sound like it meets that criteria to me...Not taking sides here, just giving my point of view on this kind of issue.

Nope. You have to fly it using CRJ-200 profiles.

Yup. If he uses full length of the runway I don't see a problem. Personally the guy I have seen using the last 1000ft of a 6300ft runway with obstacles at the end in a C-150 during a hot summer day is more dangerous. Dude barely cleared the hill.

Just for clarification purposes, is the issue safety or professionalism? Or something else?

*Sent from phone...pardon goofy auto-corrects*

Hey at least it didn't auto correct into weird stuff!

I believe the issue is whether or not stuff like this is professional. I think context is the what matters. Freight? Coboy up! Yehaw! With pax, or at least pax that aren't as amused. Chill son.
