Dispatching with DUI possible?

On a serious note be honest when they ask about and traffic stops in their application. I've seen people in indoc being sent home when they fail to dislose a DUI . They will find out.

I think there’s a reg that requires you report the DUI with the FAA within 60 days after being charged. Not reporting that would be a bigger issue. As for employment, you should be fine.

I know pilots have to report it within 60 days and also on their next medical application. I am not sure about other licensed individual that do not require a medical - ie dispatchers/mechanics/chute riggers.
