Amerijet International, Inc Miami, Florida:<BR />Delegated by the Director of Operations, and jointly with the Pilot in Command have the&nbsp;responsibility for the safety and quality of the Operational Control, Aircraft<br />Performance, Operating Limitations, Use of Routes, Areas &amp; Airports, and RVSM airspace.<div>&nbsp;</div>Delegated by the Director of Operations, s/he is responsible for canceling, diverting,&nbsp;or delaying a flight if in his/her opinion or the opinion of the pilot in command the flight cannot operate safely as planned or released.<div>&nbsp;</div><div>The Flight Follower (Flight Dispatcher) is also responsible for assuring that each flight is monitored with respect to the departure of the flight from the place of origin</div>and arrival at the place of destination (including intermediate stops and any diversions therefrom); mechanical delays encountered (at places of origin, destination,<br /><div>and/or intermediate stops); any known conditions that may adversely affect the safety of flight.</div><div><strong><u><br /></u></strong></div><div><strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;&nbsp;</u></strong>Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><ul><li>Duties to exercise operational control, not limited to the timely execution of flight releases, providing the PIC with all the information necessary for the safety of the flight (registering every &#8220;Amendment&#8221;). Demonstrating proficiency and&nbsp;compliance by navigating through GOM, AOM, FAA SPECS, OCC-SOP, MEL, NRFO and any other manuals required for the ongoing operation.</li><li>Duties to maintain operational control, not limited to continuously monitoring enroute, destination and alternate weather reports and forecasts, &nbsp;navigation and airport facilities, fuel requirements, airworthiness, and full utilization of available communication systems.</li><li>Duties to comply with operational control communications and support, not limited to execution of notifications for arrivals and/or departures (Customs, PQ, MDAD, APIS), coordination with Load Control and Maintenance Control to maximize fleet utilization and payloads; report of operational issues to the OCC Managers; and timely providing fuel schedule and fuel amounts including tankering (when possible) to maximize cost efficiency.&nbsp;</li><li>Support Charter Sales with timely maximum payloads, enroute times, fuel requirements and overfly/landing permits.</li><li>Cover in the event of a staffing shortage, sick time, vacation, recurrent training etc.</li><li>Complete Fuel Tankering Control, Daily Recap, Process Trip Envelopes, and Completion of any other assignment from the OCC Managers.</li><li>Telephone response within 3 rings along with backing up scheduling and maintenance control lines</li><li>Timely processing all the duties to use downtime for processing Amerijet manuals, Jeppesen revisions, trip envelopes, fuel reconciliations and statistical reports.</li><li>Proficient in the use of office software such as Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, and Geneva, Navtech and Jeppesen If necessary, schedule crews and monitor crew times, assist flight crews with load movements and weight and balance, arrange ground handling and ground support of AmeriJet aircraft.</li></ul></div>
