DFW Downtime

I am going to the new volunteer info session tomorrow at 1pm. thanks, hope it goes well. I love volunteering anyways, especially for aviation, so i'm sure i will love it

Cool. Let us know how it goes. I know they have a number of flyable airplanes there and many of the volunteers are airplane owners/pilots.

yes, I know they have the pay to go up on a war-bird rides in a few aircraft which sounds really cool. I'll definitely let you know how it goes. thanks again

well I went to the new volunteer meeting/tour today at 1pm and was fascinated and see I have a lot to learn about warbirds so I will be doing some research, but plan on going back up there here in a minute for the monthly volunteer meeting. Thank you again

the meeting last night was hilarious and very educational. at one point a guy asked if another guy could get his rabbi to bless the DR1 replica they have (the German snoopy tripe plane) and he responded no, but he could arrange for him to cut about a quarter inch off the tailpipe. ROFL! good times and definitely going again Saturday to help with fly day :D

I'll be at KADS Saturday getting my plane ready for a trip to Kansas. Shoot me a PM and I'll tell you what time/where the hangar is and you can swing by if you want.

BTW, I was proven wrong about Rockwall. Overall nice people in the terminal.

Well played, sir.

Most folks are generally nice people. Like Bumblebee here says, "Tell someone what you want to do, and someone will help you do it."

This is step one. We're all here to help each other out.
