Army Training Sir!Other than the obvious hero worship you have for Air Force pilots, what's the difference between bailing out of a commission flying in the Army vs flying in the Air Force?

You're walking me down a path that gets AF pilots mad at me.
I'll say in my opinion, the QOL of an AF pilot is far better than that of an Army pilot. A line AF pilot makes a ton more money than a line Army pilot as well.

The money doesn't come close to making up for the rest of the BS that makes being in the modern Air Force such a "joy.".
Oh, I understand. But when someone gets used to actual BS, Air Force BS is a welcome respite. If the AF staffed pilots exclusively with former Army pilots retention would go through the roof.
Damn you JTrain.
maybe so, but i enjoy spending time with my family. The fact that you aren't currently an AF pilot explains why you would ask that question. There were more pilots that volunteered to get out early than slots big blue had available. You're walking me down a path that gets AF pilots mad at me.

well, what I can tell you from my time in Afghanistan flying with Army guys in a mixed crew...they far preferred the army FW flying over the AF flying we were doing. That's just a lot of guys without a lot of perspective who don't know how good they have it.

lifestyle. They said they deployed less and had better living conditions. Also enjoyed the army flying better.Interesting. Preferred the flying or the lifestyle? I can see how the flying could be better, but lifestyle and QOL? No way.

could be a king air thing?Wow. First time I've ever heard anything like that and I started flying in the Army 15 years ago. And every single time I've worked with or spoken to AF pilots they've had it better lifestyle-wise than Army dudes.
Either an anomaly or things are changing.

Who is this Delta?
I wanna work for Southernjets!
Domestic, or INNANASHNUL?
Definitely INNANASHNUL...but I'd be willing to settle.
Pretty much anywhere that doesn't require underwear.
Guy must have realized on taxi out that he forgot the medicated Goldbond powder. If you get hired...don't be this guy... http://archive-server.liveatc.net/katl/KATL-Gnd-0927-Jul-25-2014-1100Z.mp3 Starts at 30:20. (Found on other site).
