I've never flown the Doggie, but I've spent a lot of time on the jumpseat. Sure looks like a lot of work. Glycol leaks don't sound very fun, either. The 717 is whisper quiet, almost all systems are automated, checklists are short, etc. It makes for a very easy day at work.
If you're not holding the window release full forward as you're de-icing, I certainly hope you enjoy glycol in your coffee.
Yeah, that was one of the improvements in the 717 over the Dog. Air tight. No glycol flavored coffee. I never saw so much as a dribble of glycol.
Which is a USAir jet. I see an MEL sticker on the radar. And what the deuce is the "Audrey" thing where the CPDLC screen would go in a 330?
I was wondering if anyone else would notice the UW part.
It does look comfy.
Hey, I sent you a PM yesterday. I don't know how often you check 'em. It was about this "Audrey" mystery, mostly.
For me they are. I don't particularly enjoy flying on the backside of the clock and being up all night. It takes me at LEAST a day to recover from it.

Didn't they use to run a 757 ATL-JAX? And ATL-SAV? That's not transcon. But I catch your drift
88 pays $10/hour more than the 717. At least in the A seat. For me, that is the third or fourth priority. I can already hold almost senior captain on both in NYC, but as of this last bid I'm in maybe striking range of the 73N and 320.Lol, which one pays better? Honest question.

I love the "mission" of the a320 series. One trip could be doing 40 min flights in the SE in a 319 and the next trip could be one leg a day transcons in a 321.

It is an interesting time for sure to try and game the system.
It's both a DC-9 and a long range 727. Weird but makes for some very interesting trips.
Sure, and sure!Do the A319's do transcons?
And I can't wait until SouthernJets get 321's if your still flying that category. I want to hear your opinion about them, from behind the controls. lol!
