So, because of the ramp layout, that's why pilots act unprofessional?
It is PSA...probably an occasional Mesa. Rarely AWAC. Remember the old north ramp with piedmont employees running the tower vs mainline? It would go something like this during a major push time where it was asses and elbows:
"Ramp, blue streak 542, push E5..."
"Blue streak off of 5, push is approved..."
"Ok, we are pushin...hey! Bill!!...where were you this weekend??"
"Ohh you know, just working..."
"Ok! We missed you out at the BBQ, but hey, you will be invited next time too..."
"Ohh yeah, sorry I missed that, I'll see if I can't get off for the next one..."
"Sweet, we will see you there...and we are cleared to push 5"
This all going on while guys are attempting to key the mike repeatedly. This is just one of the things you would here on a REGULAR basis. Never mind the guys who would mock other pilots when they messed up or said something stupid. Totally tie up the freq saying dumb crap back and forth to each other. You don't hear that foolishness up in PHL, DCA, or LGA. We all have our respective unprofessional people working for them, but the main operators in CLT take the cake. Most unbelievable think I've ever seen.
