Delta/Endeavor SSP Extended to All Pilots

If you flew an airplane with a big stick between your legs, instead of being able to fly crosslegged, you wouldn't have to worry about these things!;)

Truth.

So comfy though. Roll the seat back, lower it a little, shoes off, loosen the tie, a little recline, roll up/down the amber sunshades. Hell, I'm good for four hours to the west coast. Watch that chedda slowly stack itself…

"Y'all ready to eat?"

"Yes ma'am. How about a club soda and Skippy wants a… what do you want, bro? …a Sprite"

now you're just rubbing it in! Gotta go fly back to NYC now and play in the snow. Already dealt with this storm once in DTW yesterday.

Have fun! Clean aircraft concept, it's already built into the schedule!

That intercom chime is unnatural.

I heard go jet is getting 7 900s for delta time to up the retention bonus to 50,000 per year because if that is true here comes more attrition

See, I can't tease him because he would wreak havoc on me during CQ!

I only teach day 1 at this point... 100% non-jeopardy! :) In fact, I get annoyed if you jack it up because what should take 3 hours and gets me home early starts taking longer!

Is it true that they are asking a 5 year commitment now?

2 years minimum with tenure at 5 years. If you haven't made proficiency check pilot at the 2 year point (I'm slated right at the year mark), then you're asked to leave at that point. As you keep moving up, it can extend the tenure, but there are hard limits. I still haven't deciphered all of it.

Are you going to stay in the training department or head back to the like eventually?

What's the likelihood of getting MSP as a base for a newhire? If it's senior, how long will it take to get it?

Since this used to be an Endeavor thread I'm assuming you're wondering how long to get to MSP at Endeavor.

The company line is that all new hires Feb. onward will go into the -200. Bases are MSP and DTW. Based on that alone I'd say there's a good chance you could get it right away if not just after a few more new-hire classes behind you.
