I know, but that should also factor in the decision making process.
Children are only as expensive as you let them become. People, in general, blur the hell out of the "need versus want" divider all the darn time.
Such... A blessing.*dead look in eyes* "but they're such a blessing..."
No, sir.Are you on call?![]()
"But Dad.... I need so get the new Eezy's ....."
Then you need to get a new J-O-B....
"YOU'LL GET A RAINBOW LOOM AND LIKE IT!!"
"Listen son, you can drive my beat up regional FO car to school, or you can take the bus.""YOU'LL GET A RAINBOW LOOM AND LIKE IT!!"
Ever read "4 day follies, not the Captains log"Theres a great line in there when he's driving his beat up car and thinking about how his kids will be so lucky to get it someday. It's a pretty funny book."Listen son, you can drive my beat up regional FO car to school, or you can take the bus."

That's just when I go "Will it take him two or three drinks before the 'I love my children, but if I had to do it all over again...' speech start?"
He's saying he's heard guys talk about their children. Then without missing a breath say if they could do it over again they wouldn't have kids and live like hey were still in college.Huh?
Weird, I've never had anyone tell me anything but "kids are great" drunk or solber. He's saying he's heard guys talk about their children. Then without missing a breath say if they could do it over again they wouldn't have kids and live like hey were still in college.

I don't know this mythical "I wish I didn't have kids!" parent either.
Oh wait, is it the same guy that wishes he wasn't married and chases flight attendants? Never mind, I know that guy.

You'd think so, but no. I got 4 kids and I can only take a $250 credit for them. Wanna know why? I apparently make too much money.Don't forget the brat kids.
The credit of $1000 or so per child drops by $50 per $1000 over an AGI of $110,000, filing jointly. At least I avoided the AMT this year.
