If I was offered something better than a regional, I can't see a reason to refuse it, even if it's not where I want to be when the music stops. Obviously everyone has a different set of what's required to make it better, but.....United. I honestly can't think of anything that would disqualify them as being worse than any regional. Even if you are bringing on a new aircraft type.

Yeah I get it. It's an antique. Too bad that state of the art airframe Delta picked to replace it doesn't even have one. I know for some it could be considered a minor detail but I like the option to being able to air out the electronics saturated greenhouse we sit in on the ground when it's needed. It also comes in handy when one might forget to hand out the security sheet first thing in the morning before one has had their coffee too.

Dude, you wouldnt beleive the ish I saw and heard while I was there. The best was when I went to SIM and all the checkairmen were convinced SkyWest was getting 757's to fly for UAL because we could do it cheaper. I would just sit in the corner at Flight Safety quietly and eat my cup of noodles which made them suspicious I wasn't drinking the Kool Aid.

When you say "we", do you mean you and some other subset, or ALL Tier 2 pilots?
I think I've opened a window in a jet maybe twice in the last five years.
If you're hot up front, they're hot in back, RUN THE PACKS.
And they can't hear you on the ground when you scream from upstairs in the bigger jets.
