Delta A320 vs Hail

Like I said previously, it really is awesome. When you can see the trend of the system 500 or more miles away it really makes avoidance decision making a piece of cake. And the thing is, we generally cruise at fl430-450, so I can only imagine how much some one slogging it out at 350-370 could benifit from it. Although a few weeks ago we were pretty much solid IMC for 20-30 mins going across the rockies.

Oh...get stuck going down to Puerto Rico along a front offshore at FL310-330......

Guess what AIRINC operator....We get stuck at 310 you'll be hearing from us all the friggin way asking for 20 miles left and right. K?

Oh I know what you mean, kinda. Just went to Uruguay and Argentina. Climbing out of Panama and going across Ecuador, I really missed my ADS-B box. The downside of ADS-B is it being CONUS only. We're in the process of selling our airplane and the new one is definitely going to have wifi, especially since we'll be able to make the crossing to Hawaii and the Atlantic. :)

Well, the post said that Delta had the best "pre-merger", and that is what I was responding to. As to post, well, yes, many transferred over, the knowledge is there, but not sure how much has been implemented into flight planning. Maybe someone with direct knowledge can answer that.

Well I would like to think I know as the former head of NWA wx that went over with the merger to DAL bought my condo and is my next door neighbor.
