With schedules like that, you guys really need a min day. Ours is 4 hours, and I think Mesaba's is the same. It would encourage the company to schedule more efficiently, and if they don't, at least you would get paid 4 hours for 2 hours of block.
Colgan is one of the Few companies where duty rig could very well be better in terms of "teaching" them to build better schedules. It is not heard of to have a 13-14 hour day with, say... 4 hrs credit. Rather, it is quite normal - Used to be the Pitt Sitt... now seems like it's IAD. Be nice to have 4 hrs min/ 2:1 duty rig whichever is more...
