Voting to slow down the voice. 2983 would be easier to say slowly (and once)…

Since when is a flypast “time over target”. LHR reroutes traffic for armistice day and NYE fireworks. (And flypasts)

DCA just keeps on working overcapacity?

Well, as controversial as this sounds, this is what happens when we blame brown people and women for everything.

Solutions go unexplored and problems never recognized.

Some of us tried to warn but were shouted-down.

These are the consequences. Enjoy.

We are going to be in the "find out" phase for a long, long, long, long, long time. Not just aviation, everything.

Would be interesting to know if any congressional representatives or staff were on those flights.

What does race or gender gave to do with this incident?

All flybys have a TOT, in conjunction with the event the flyby is being done for. For a cemetery fly past, likely timed for the conclusion of any rifle salute or the ceremony conclusion. Sounds like some additional time was needed, and as it’s not instant to maneuver a 4-ship around effectively, probably wouldn’t have hurt to restrict DCA south departures for a little while longer.

I don't understand the context.
Statement: “Solutions go unexplored and problems never recognized.”

Context: “When a specious cause has been identified for an outcome, such as claiming that poor decisions were made by staff that was selected for reasons other than practical merit, that squelches further inspection for other, possibly more-likely, primary causes.”

Seeing that no one made specious speculation about the cause of this incident, let alone claiming it was due to race or sex, in this thread, it's a bit out of context. The meaning of his post is obvious, but it seems very random in this thread.

Do you not remember the entire thread about the first incident at this airport where you commented? No?

Do you watch the news? The context is the political environment in the United States. You're literally swimming in it right now, whether you're paying attention or not.
Yup, but it would be nice to not have race, sex, DEI, politics, etc. interjected into a thread when no one has claimed the incident was related to those factors. It would have made more sense in in the other DCA thread. Here, it just seems like a rant, something uncalled for, out of place.

I'm not saying this is the case here, but there are also people that pull the race/gender card claiming discrimination for almost any adversity they experience in life. I've been it happen. Carry on.
