Depends on the plane and market. King air 90? Probably high.

Depending on the equipment and other parameters I know people that charge between $600-$1,500 daily.

Conquest or 767, it makes a difference.

2. Type of equipment.
3. What you are willing to take in compensation.
4. What owner is willing to pay.

$250 /day single engine piston
$350 /day multi piston
$400 /day pressurized piston
$500 /day right seat turboprop
$600 /day right seat jet.

You can always PAY a $750 day rate for multi-turbine but you won't always be able to BE PAID a $750 day rate for multi-turbine.

I've got to go to requal next month and we need to renegotiate my pay as well..

It depends what type of jet. You get a lot more if the jet requires a type to sit in the right seat. I won't get off my couch for less than a grand a day. Those contract gulfstream guys make a killing!

Eh, Gulfstream guys and gals undercut each other also, just like all the other "pilots helping pilots" out there. I've tried to pick up a couple trips here and there during time off, and get undercut every time.

Eh, Gulfstream guys and gals undercut each other also, just like all the other "pilots helping pilots" out there. I've tried to pick up a couple trips here and there during time off, and get undercut every time.

That's a darn shame! What's the going daily rate?

I read this as "dry rate" - I was like "wow, someone's renting a multi-turbine? Where do I sign up?!

We're at $850 a day for typed /current HS-125 pilots, but the going rate seems to be 7-800
