Also wanted to share this one from near home -- While some of you folks up in the jets may find them annoying, it's truly awe-inspiring, especially from a Dispatcher's desk, to get the "HEY CHECK YOUR EMAIL" ACARS and -not- have to clean up a LAV or break up a fight in the back.

And to the crews, sorry if the ACARS lights up or a SELCAL startles the bejesus outta you guys.

Jeju Air coming into Guam a few weeks ago, the only arrival that entire day that wasn't during a downpour. Plenty of sunshine that day, but traffic is slow as hell in GUM in daylight.

busiest itll be the afternoon arrival bank on the day turns from Japan, it’s just boring 737s but you can usually get a few that do the visual to 6L (if the cloud deck is high enough) and come in over Asan beach area. you’ll see more in the upcoming dry season when it only rains 5 times a day instead of 9
JAL takes a 763 and does touch and goes about once a month too, that’s kind of interesting to see. Andersen has some interesting types cycling thru but not aware of any good spotting places in the approach path

but yeah it’s a slow airport. lots of night flying.
