Boss moved on to a new job, which means he’s off flight status. His last flight back to base.View attachment 49066

My unit did this for me at the end of my last flight. Unbeknownst to me, they had called my wife and she was there with the kids. It was a bit sad and yet a humbling moment for me.

Went to Shanghai Disneyland, working on competing the Disney world tour...if scheduling hadn’t yanked my HKG overnight I’d only lack Paris.

Oh well, another day I suppose.

Side note: the TRON ride is amazing, and their pirates ride is fantastic as well—much better than the ones in America and Tokyo

Not a fun flying day. Also, I think flying connecting flights to mountain airports has to be one of the toughest regional gigs. Short flights, thunderstorms and terrain...all in a CRJ200.
