As the years go by, bouncing around the weather in a light plane loses its appeal.
Don't get me wrong, I love the flying part, but the chop getting out of FL today was annoying.

Looked familiar, hoping to do that ride from Ned to Winter Park sooner than later. Need to get less fat though first.

I’ve never done it but it’s supposed to be fun. Mtb Nationals have been in winter park all week. Some incredible athletes up there.

A buddy and I are going skiing up there Thursday, if you’re looking for something to do that day. It involves more hiking than biking, or skiing for that matter.

Of course I’m back to work then, I do need two more days before the end of September to hit 40 days. St. Mary’s might happen shortly, are you going above Rollins?

Thank god the traditions are still alive in some places. A few of us got livid with the command in a former job because “oh we don’t allow Fini-flights out of concern for safety.” Dude/Dudette puts up with a couple decades of pulling the cart they deserve to have a moment for them and their family to come out and celebrate one last ride in a green/black/whatever that F model color is Aircraft.

The CH-47F color we use is FS34201. We call it "Green Tan", but I've heard it referred to as "Desert Sage" too.
