Right side horizontal tail torn off King Air in a departure from normal flight. Apparently the pilot accelerated stalled and spun the aircraft with skydivers onboard.

Where did you hear that? I read that the the aircraft lost the stab THEN "departed normal flight."

From eye witness (skydiver) onboard the aircraft. I suppose that is questionable as to reputable source, if you've ever known any skydivers lol. They're like talking to fishermen, always a whale of a tale lol.

Did you stop through Barrow or Deadhorse? I've never been to Barter without snow before.

After three tries via Atigun pass and waiting at Chandalar Shelf I plugged the oxygen in and went on top of all that mess 15,500 straight to Barter. Spent an hour or so then jumped to Deadhorse for overnight at Aurora. Great place. Next morning went to Barrow just for the sake of visiting the weird place. SVFR seems like that freezing fog never lifts.

Then poked the bear.
