So when you need to fix a hydraulic leak and swing the gear far from home in Winnipeg a crane comes in handy.

Did an out-and-back to go see Madre and grandmadre; I just needed to get away from the dumpster state too. Just getting out and going on a quick daytrip does wonders for the morale. If any of you guys are reading this from the shadows and not commenting or whatever, take it from me: a day trip seriously helps. Got to have some downhome cooking, saw family members for a few hours, got back in the car and hopped back on the jet to get back to work.
This sunset hit our neighboring bird and just reminded me of what 500 used to look like - beaten to hell and weathered like a toilet. She shines in person... But those sunsets sure are a nice treat to boot.
