Did a very, very fun PAO-OAK-LVK-SJC-NUQ-PAO flight today just to shoot all the superbowl traffic in town. The low pass down 32R at Moffet after the Blues had just gotten back was...epic.

I have to be reading this incorrectly. You have an approximately 160kt tailwind? Because that's the airspeed tape on the left, correct? And it's reading 241 KIAS?
I think you have the IAS correct, but it's a 53 knot tailwind. You can see the little wind vector arrow at the top left

No worries! We have a TAS indication next to our GS indication. I guess the RJ is just that much more advanced than that silly thing...

We have TAS too...on the MFD, right below GS...just not enough room to put it on the HUD...guess my "old skool" turboprop will just have to do

Got sent up to ANC for a couple days of flying while on reserve...it was fun to get back up to where I cut my teeth as a brand new Captain.
