Hiked Blanca Lake yesterday, in the central Cascades...it was a killer hike, but oh so worth it...

This pup isn't too keen on jumping into glacial fed lakes...

Editing pics from 05-08 mostly these days. Here's a thorwback of MSP the way I'll always remember it(sort of, I liked the grey top "bowling shoe" colors best). This was shot on my first CRJ-200 ride which was on Mesaba MSP-SDF, at the time they only had 2 or 3 in the fleet and I remember the bulkhead had a big "XJ"(their identifier) written across it sloppily with sharpie for some reason. I guess so rampers knew it wasn't Pinnacle? Though that was strange.

She's so pretty...

Back in '07 When Boeing was still saying the jet would EIS by mid-2008, the buzz was NWA was planning on running MSP-FAR with it on training legs for awhile. And then reality happened.

Makes me miss the Pac NW sometimes.

I hurled myself off a motorcycle into the side of whatever mountain it is....Packwood?....that you drive around to get up to Packwood Lake.

That was an interesting day.

Those pics are just awesome. Your photos and ability have really improved over time and you've become quite the terrific photographer. Really enjoy your pics a lot!

I'll bet that mountain air smelled so, so good.

Thanks! I'm pretty much a hack with a nice camera...I go out, take pictures just so I can remember what I've done/Where I've been...and if they turn out ok, I usually post them on here. It's nice to hear someone appreciates them :)

It's been incredible the past couple of weeks, I've done 5 hikes and they've all been epic. I have 6 planned for July, can't wait to see how they are...2 are hikes I did last year.

I have more photos posted on flickr...flickr.com/photos/SurferLucas

Just took a gander
at your Washington and Oregon albums....your composition is pretty damn good and your "eye" has really improved. You're no hack, buddy. I especially enjoyed all the pics from Alaska that you posted recently. They were seriously awesome.
