Brought a momento for my civilian employer.
As much as we collectively complain about the 'Company' the people who have worked with me while being on extended leave have been above and beyond exemplary.

I plan on presenting it to them when I get back shortly.

Let me put it this way. A new pilot shirt was lucky to make it five hours without getting a hydraulic or oil stain. We were advised not to linger under the engines or tail in an effort to avoid the drips.
So to give you an idea, I worked the ramp with those. The ramp was pitted where the tail and gear was due to drips. We had a problem with the rudder one night and I had to help mx with the belt loader get up to his panel. 30 minutes at -35 ish temp and a wind of around 20 kts. Got back inside, my hands felt cold. The skydrol had eaten through it, about 2 inches of nylon and padding. I didn't even realize it. That stuff is serious business. I walked around a lot wider after that. That also explained the hats, as they would get frayed easily and fall apart. Hats lasted a lot longer once I started walking wide.

Ahhhhh, we know we sucked this year. You don't see our fans tackling TVs because of a stupid play call.

Well, Tom Coughlin can only be tackled so many times. :)

I can't wait for baseball season. There are few things I love more than sitting in the park with a hot dog and beer watching the game.

You ever gonna be an Astros fan? Take MiniSeggy to his first game?
