A little pet peeve of mine, mostly when it comes to shipping, but Alaska is on the North American Continent and is therefore CONUS/Continental US.CONUS I mean good catch...
Or you get the "we only ship fedex or ups and that will be $60" for a $3 part that would fit in a flat rate USPS flat rate envelope.A little pet peeve of mine, mostly when it comes to shipping, but Alaska is on the North American Continent and is therefore CONUS/Continental US.
That irks me.Or you get the "we only ship fedex or ups and that will be $60" for a $3 part that would fit in a flat rate USPS flat rate envelope.
Amazon Prime is a great deal if you are out in the "bush." Not for aircraft parts of course.Or you get the "we only ship fedex or ups and that will be $60" for a $3 part that would fit in a flat rate USPS flat rate envelope.
I used to fly more Amazon Prime boxes than anything. Lot of it was groceries and dog food.Amazon Prime is a great deal if you are out in the "bush." Not for aircraft parts of course.
IIRC, the Army considers Alaska OCONUS so it that sense I guess it's contiguous and not continental, wondering if shipping companies look at it the same way.A little pet peeve of mine, mostly when it comes to shipping, but Alaska is on the North American Continent and is therefore CONUS/Continental US.
Where were these pics taken?Three years ago today I was the flight engineer for the last and final flight of an American registered 727-100 freighter. Its first flight was on July 18, 1967, and its last flight was on February 5, 2012. It operated for United, FedEx, Kelowna Flightcraft, and IFL during its long career.

I've heard that 727s leaked skydrol constantly, especially in the tail section. Is that true? The first two were at PTK; the last was at CYLW.
