Never been to Innsbruck, but would utterly love to.

Was a nice day in Salzburg yesterday but the circle to 33 is pretty hairy when the wind is gusting.

Some of my corporate friends used to take PC12s and Lear 45s into Sion - cloud break on the Geneva ILS, then VFR up the lake and down the valley below the ceiling!

I absolutely love Sion although never flown the approach. Its one of my favorite places to to vacation in Switzerland with plenty of places to hike, eat cheese, drink wine. Hearing the planes come down the valley or seeing the gliders soar above always makes me dream of being up there.

Came across 2 Singapore 747 photos I edited from 2007 and 2008. I loved that livery on the 747, I miss seeing these guys. At least the freighters are still around, though they haven't flown into SFO since the 90s.

Boarding as SQ1 SFO-HKG-SIN in early 2008.

Arriving at sunset as SQ2 SIN-HKG-SFO in April 2007. Years later I made a friend who was on this same flight. You get a crappy watermark too, because I'm too lazy to re-edit things.

Went down to San Jose today when a friend tipped me off that the San Jose Sharks/Frys Electronics 727 would be taking off around 1PM. Standing next to the runway as this thing took off was awesome. @SeanD act like you love it, damn it.

Caught Sharktank star Robert Herjavec's awesome looking Challenger too. Guess he's Canadian, eh?

Winter soldiers at Alton Bay NH. The only FAA approved ice runway in US :)
In the contiguous US maybe? There's more ice runways than I can count on the north slope.
Then there's PALH, which has an ice runway all winter. PAFA also has it's pond open as an ice runway.

I had the same thought. Some on the slope even receive regular 121 service.
