Wow. Hmmm ABQ such an underestimated place...
Nice photos over the Rio Grande past the Sandia Mountains and nice picture of ABQ airport with the Sandia Mountains in the background.

Pre race concert. It was supposed to be snoop, but he cancelled and they got these guys instead. I'd never heard anything except that "thrift shop" song, but they played an entertaining set-

Did you run? The wife of the captain I flew with yesterday ran it. She called him when she finished and said it ended at the far end of the strip and she about froze to death (keep in mind, they live in Hawaii) getting back to the start line and her hotel.

Yeah, my wife and I run it every year, it's a lot of fun. Last two years I ran the full, this year I ran the half as I've been having hip, knee and big toe issues on the right side. This year they had a 5k, which I walked with my 70 year old dad, a half of the half, the half, and the full, with 50,000 total people in the four events.
The finish is by caeser's, it was cold for Vegas and it was windy. This year was uncomfortable going back to the hotel, but I imagine for a Hawaiian it was a bit like going to the North Pole in running shorts. Two years ago it was the worst, really cold, super windy for running, I was trembling the whole way.
