@ASpilot2be Nice Pics! It cracked me up when the local weather station was reporting unseasonably warm temps in southern AK. They said "and in Anchorage it's going to be 42 degrees there today for the high. Time to bust out the shorts". Cracked me up and I thought of you.Nice afternoon in Golovin!
It is has been insanely warm lately, and we got the airplane muddy! Its January! WTH!
Hahaha. It pretty much is shorts weather. The runways are bad up here. Everything is BA nil to poor. Not a whole lot of fun. It was 40 in Nome today! Freaking weird.
You are a native when 40 is warm. lol Crappy about the runway conditions. .....lot's of slush and mud eh? Yikes. How are the winds? Must be mild as well.
The winds havent been too bad lately actually. Except for the blizzard day. It was gusting to 53 with heavy snow. Good day to get paid to watch movies. For now I am staying tight my upgrade to the 207 is happening in the next few months. Just testing the waters. There are some issues with this job, but the new CP might turn things around. We will see. I will PM you with those a little later. Always looking for different input. My Christmas was ok. Celebrated it early. I spent it in Nome getting much needed rest.
