I have soaking up the sun in Vegas last week, so I missed all those good times. But it sounds like quite a storm. Nome was in blizzard mode earlier.Been good. Was out in OTZ the other day when it was ripping but looked like you guys weren't flying.
I've got over 10 inches on my deck from just today and it's still coming down.I have soaking up the sun in Vegas last week, so I missed all those good times. But it sounds like quite a storm. Nome was in blizzard mode earlier.
Why put turbines on a C340 or a C421? Because there wasn't an STC for it, so why not? The turbine 36 is halfway decent as long as you suck O2. I've never seen a P-Navajo Turbine conversion, though. It looks kinda neat. I think it has the 'cool' factor like the tubine Aerostar or the jet Aerostar.But..... Why?!?! Isn't that sort of just a turbine Bonanza at that point?!

Piper made a turbine navajo from the factory. It's called the Cheyenne. The first one's were even called a PA31T before they made them bigger and gave it the PA-42 designation. Why put turbines on a C340 or a C421? Because there wasn't an STC for it, so why not? Actually, the Turbine Chieftain was the T1040. They only built 24 of them.Piper made a turbine navajo from the factory. It's called the Cheyenne. The first one's were even called a PA31T before they made them bigger and gave it the PA-42 designation.
